When opening the menu in the Softpay app, you can access Transactions and Daily reports, which both display data from the last 10 days. The data shown is limited to the current AppID. If you reinstall the Softpay app or delete its app data, your device will be assigned a new AppID, and the transaction history will be reset.
Under Transactions, you can view all transactions processed with the current AppID in the last 10 days. A transaction may be a payment or a refund, and it can be either successful or declined. As long as a card was read, the transaction will appear in the list.
For each transaction, you can see which card scheme (e.g. Mastercard or Visa) was used and whether it was successfully paid or refunded or declined. The most recent transaction can be cancelled if it is a payment. Refunds cannot be cancelled.
Under Daily reports, you can see transaction data for the last 10 days. The balance for each day (from 03:00 to 03:00 the following day) and for each currency in which transactions were processed is listed. If no transactions occurred on a given day, that day will not be listed. If a day appears with a balance of 0, it means that payments and refunds offset each other.
Opening a daily report shows the timestamp of the last transaction included (Last reconciliation), the STAN reference, and the Batch number.
Depending on the processor or acquirer, the Batch number may be used to group transactions for settlement on their side. Softpay always reconciles each transaction immediately. Further handling and settlement are managed by the processor or acquirer.
Below this, the totals of payments and refunds are listed both per card scheme and in total.
