Softpay terminal app is designed to be a configure once, use forever solution and there is no log out function available.
In case you are looking for "log out" as a way to lock down your device, please use your devices built-in security measures to lock the device when not in use.
It is the responsibility of the merchant that device security measures are set up to prevent unauthorized use of the terminal.
In case of device replacement please go to "Settings" -> "Release terminal" to ensure your terminal becomes available for installation on another device and then delete Softpay app on the old device.
Please note that
- the transaction history in a Softpay app is tied to the specific Softpay app installation (appId) and it is not carried over.
- licensing prohibits moving your terminal installation across multiple devices at will. Every terminal installation that is set up and makes a transaction counts as an active terminal during the period.
